Book Review- The Winter of The Witch

“I have plucked snowdrops at Midwinter, died at my own choosing, and wept for a nightingale. Now I am beyond prophecy.”
“There are no monsters in the world, and no saints.”

Title- The Winter of The Witch

Author- Katherine Arden

Genre- Historical Fantasy

I have been waiting to complete this series for a while. And I am in love it. The magic and world are so beautiful and peaceful. I writing itself feels so soothing.

I couldn’t have asked for any other ending than this. Although I prefer the 1st and 2nd part more, this one was worth reading. In 3rd book, Vasya is more mature, has more control over her powers. She is the witch after all. The best part of this book is how the author has connected this book with the first part. The Bear, The Nightingale, and The Winter king. Ah, my heart. These books are so comforting. During difficult times, it is a perfect pick. I love everything about this book and the series as a whole.

Also, this is my entry for the April prompt- Has season in the title for #readingwithmuffy by @muffytales
